Editorial Policy

This page explains how The Gospel Post chooses, writes and checks what we publish.

What we publish

We cover gospel music, news from the Christian community, devotionals and teachings. We aim to report accurately, fairly and in a way that encourages our readers.

Sources and accuracy

  • We rely on official sources wherever possible: artists, labels, churches, ministries, event organisers and their official channels.
  • When a story comes from another publication, we credit and link to it.
  • We do not publish rumours as fact, and we do not publish stories we cannot reasonably verify.
  • Quotes are reproduced faithfully and attributed to the person who said them.

Independence and sponsored content

Advertisers and sponsors do not decide what we write. Sponsored or paid content is always clearly labelled as sponsored. Artists may submit music for consideration, but a submission is not a guarantee of coverage.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we want to fix it quickly. Please send us a correction request with a link to the article and details of the error. When we correct a story in a way that changes its meaning, we add a note to the article explaining what changed.

Devotional content

Scripture quotations on this site are from the King James Version (public domain) unless stated otherwise. Devotionals from other ministries are credited to their source.
