Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

This policy explains what information The Gospel Post (“we”, “us”) collects when you use thegospelpost.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you subscribe to our emails

We store your email address, the date you subscribed, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We use the hashed IP only to stop repeated automated sign-ups; it cannot be turned back into your IP address. We use your email address only to send you our devotionals and updates.

When you contact us

Messages sent through our contact form, including your name, email address and message, are emailed to us so we can reply. We keep them only as long as needed to handle your request.

Site statistics and security

We use Jetpack by Automattic to understand how many people visit and which articles are read, and to protect the site from attacks and spam. Jetpack may process information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit. See Automattic’s privacy policy.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies needed for it to work and for the statistics described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Embedded content

Articles may include embedded videos (for example from YouTube) and music players from other websites. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data about you and use cookies. Their own privacy policies apply.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the site (such as our hosting provider and Jetpack), or when the law requires it.

How long we keep information

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe you from our emails. Email thegospelposts@gmail.com or use our contact form.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
